"There are just so many better things to
do than paperwork" according to Michelle
Graham of Aidan J Graham Quarries.
A successful family business for 32 years, based
out of the Frankston area south of Melbourne,
Aidan J Graham Quarries supply everyone from large
construction and government clients, to garden
supply outlets. Even smaller retail clients.
Michelle sends invoices, statements,
remittance advices and purchase orders using
the Attaché Alex service.
"It saves one person between 2 and 3
days every month, and thats probably
being fairly conservative.
"What really surprised us was how much
time Alex would save us with our supplier payments.
It is just so seamless. We now have 95% of our
regular suppliers receiving their payment advices
via Alex.
"Our larger clients in particular have
also really embraced it. After we sent out
our letter to advise our clients we wouldnt
be mailing our invoices, three customers called
us up just to tell us they wished all their suppliers
did this.
"We used to do all of our invoicing once
a week. So it could up to two weeks for clients
to receive their invoice. We still process the
invoices weekly, but clients now receive the invoice
that day, so that has really reduced the time
lag and helped our customers match up their delivery
dockets and invoices sooner.
"Our biggest garden supplies customer love
it, they are really happy.
"Customers also see us using Alex and think
these people are moving ahead, see us taking steps
forward and it flows through to how they view
the rest of the company, how we manage ourselves."
Getting Alex up and running just needed some
minor changes to the network, together with some
assistance from Michelles Attaché
consultants, MAJA Solutions. "I cant
speak highly enough of MAJA, they are fantastic,
they really are."
